QuickBooks Error 3140 occurs while syncing of data, when the downloading process of QuickBooks has corrupted itself. You received error message "The specified account is invalid or of the wrong type".

Possible Steps to Remove:
Open your QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale
Goto File menu, than select Preferences
Click on Company option Select Accounts
Sure accounts type is A/R and A/P
Click on Save and Run financial exchange
